UPGRADE TO MASTER 100 TONS (Inland – Near Coastal)
24-hour Course / Tuition $350
A training course for those OUPV who wish to upgrade to Master 100 tons. This training is a dialogue that deepens the mariner's understanding of what it is to be the master of a vessel, and brings an awareness of the legal requirements for operating an inspected vessel.  Building on the OUPV course, this course also explores more advanced ship-handling techniques, deck seamanship skills, basic towing techniques, fundamentals of ship stability and construction, and a variety of other topics.

RESCUE BOAT OPERATIONS COURSE

FCC MARINE RADIO OPERATOR PERMIT TRAINING AND EXAMINATION

ASSISTANCE TOWING – NMT 200 Tons
4-hour Course / Tuition $125

This course is for those who wish to perform "Commercial Assistance Towing".  An Assistance Towing endorsement permits a licensed Master or a Mate of vessels less than 200 GRT to charge for towing a disabled vessel into a harbor, dock or shore.  This is not the same as a Towing Vessel license.

AUXILIARY SAIL - NMT 200 Tons

4-hour Course / Tuition $125

This course is for those who desire to qualify for an Auxiliary Sail Endorsement to their license.  For Near Coastal you must have 360 days on Auxiliary Sail vessels to qualify.  For Inland, you must have 180 days on Auxiliary Sail vessels to qualify.  There are no Sail or Auxiliary Sail endorsements to an OUPV license.

ALSO ...
Please consider the Flagship Maritime Training Center when planning your next gathering for your yacht club, cruising club, or other boating group.  You'll find our facility affordable and our staff quite accommodating, plus we can tailor additional training to best fit your needs.

FOR RECREATIONAL BOATERS ...
Remember the investment you've made in your boat?  Many new boaters don't give their own preparation much thought, though, and are typically ill-equipped to operate their new boat safely and prudently.  And even seasoned boaters often step up into a vessel beyond their experience.  When that's the case, you can bet that trouble isn't lurking far behind.  Give yourself and your crew the confidence and peace of mind that comes with professional instruction.  In the long run, the benefits of these courses are immeasurable - you'll learn a lot, you'll develop a new awareness on the water, and likely even start some lifelong friendships. Come aboard!
